The Application for 2010 Action Spring and Summer trips is now online!
Do you want to work hard and do something real to build God’s Kingdom? In Allendale and Indianapolis there is drywall that needs to be hung, walls that need to be painted, plumbing that needs to be fixed, floors that need to be laid, children that need to be taught, and people who are awaiting the Good News of the Kingdom of God.
Last year we sent 108 students and 33 adults on 9 different Action trips. These trips really moved our work forward in Allendale and Indianapolis and we are hoping that we can do as much this year, if not more.
Below are the dates for the teams we would like to send this summer. The number of trips could still change, depending on the number of applications we receive and the situation in the new starts. We will firm up these dates and locations as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
Allendale and/or Indianapolis Spring Break: April 5-10
(may have one or two trips, location TBD)

Indy 2: June 21 – July 3

The steps to apply for consideration:
1. Fill out the online application. Click Here to fill out the application. Then fill out the following forms (all provided in PDF format) and give them to your action leader who will mail them to the Action Program Office (APO).
2. Print the health form and give it to your action leader.
3. Photocopy both sides of your health insurance card and give it your action leader.
4. If you are a minor (less than 18 years old) print the code of conduct for minors, the waiver for minors, and the health care authorization form and give them to your action leader.
5. If you are an adult, print the code of conduct for adults and the waiver for adults and give them to your action leader.
6. If you can volunteer to drive or loan your vehicle, print the owner vehicle waiver OR the loaner vehicle waiver form, sign it and mail to APO.
We really need the applications (especially for the Spring Break Trip) as quickly as possible. We will begin to assemble the Spring Break teams with the applications we have received by March 1st. We will begin to assemble the Summer teams with the applications received by March 22nd. Please allow enough time to get all forms mailed in by these dates. Incomplete applications will not be processed. Teams will be put together based on the complete applications we have received by these dates. Late applications will not be guaranteed placement. So check your summer schedules and fill out an application today!

Action 2010 Interest Survey Now Online!
Are you thinking about going on an Action trip this spring or summer? Let us know by filling out the Interest Survey. The information we gathered from the survey last year was very helpful for planning the action trips so we are doing it again this year. We have a lot of work that we need to do in Allendale and Indianapolis and knowing who is interested will help us decide what we can do.
It doesn’t matter whether this would be your first trip or if you have come every year, whether you are just thinking about it or have already reserved two weeks on your summer schedule, we want to hear from you! We’ll also be sure and inform everyone who tells us they are interested about upcoming trip dates and applications as soon as that information becomes available.

Action 2009 Spring and Summer Trips: Apply Today!
You can now apply online for this year’s Action spring and summer trips to Allendale and Indianapolis. This past year we have seen a flurry of city-building and missionary activity in both Allendale and Indianapolis and there is plenty of work that we need Action to do this summer.
Come join us as we plan to fix plumbing and repair foundations, paint houses and rooms, renovate newly acquired properties, teach children how to have fun, get along and follow the Lord, host neighborhood barbecues, and share the Good News with all who are longing to hear it.
In 2008, it took 92 students, 42 adults, and 22 volunteer staff to send spring teams to both Allendale and Indianapolis and 4 summer teams to Allendale and 2 to Indianapolis. The more volunteers we have this summer, the more we can do to move the Lord’s work forward in both Allendale and Indianapolis.
The project dates may still change, but these are our current planned dates. We will firm up dates and locations as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

2008 Action Applications up for Spring and Summer Trips
Welcome to our seventh summer of work in Action! In the past six summers in Allendale, we have constructed six new homes and repaired over 45 of our neighbors' homes. We've had at least 22 BBQs where we've fed over 1,800 people. We've put on 5 summer camps for 90 neighborhood children. We've baptized neighbors and Action volunteers in the Holy Spirit. The Lord has been busy. And so have we!
Summer 2008 promises to be a historic summer. The Lord is calling us to do twice as much work in twice as many places! In addition to continuing our work in Allendale, we will be sending teams to our newest city-building site in Indianapolis. In Allendale we intend to continue doing home repairs in our neighbors' homes and work on our properties. We also hope to run camp the entire summer instead of just two weeks! In Indianapolis, we plan to do remodeling in our newly acquired properties and home repair projects for some of our neighbors in the South Side.
Last spring and summer we had 132 people on Action trips. 30 of those volunteers were adults. We need at least that many this coming summer and more to accomplish all that God has entrusted us to do in both Allendale and Indianapolis.
