The Application for 2010 Action Spring and Summer trips is now online!

Do you want to work hard and do something real to build God’s Kingdom? In Allendale and Indianapolis there is drywall that needs to be hung, walls that need to be painted, plumbing that needs to be fixed, floors that need to be laid, children that need to be taught, and people who are awaiting the Good News of the Kingdom of God.

Last year we sent 108 students and 33 adults on 9 different Action trips. These trips really moved our work forward in Allendale and Indianapolis and we are hoping that we can do as much this year, if not more.

Below are the dates for the teams we would like to send this summer. The number of trips could still change, depending on the number of applications we receive and the situation in the new starts. We will firm up these dates and locations as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Allendale and/or Indianapolis Spring Break: April 5-10
(may have one or two trips, location TBD)

Indianapolis 1: June 7-19

Allendale 2: June 21 – July 3
Indy 2: June 21 – July 3

Allendale 3: July 12-24
Indy 3: July 12-24

Allendale 4: July 26-August 7
Indy 4: July 26-August 7

The steps to apply for consideration:

1. Fill out the online application. Click Here to fill out the application. Then fill out the following forms (all provided in PDF format) and give them to your action leader who will mail them to the Action Program Office (APO).

2. Print the health form and give it to your action leader.

3. Photocopy both sides of your health insurance card and give it your action leader.

4. If you are a minor (less than 18 years old) print the code of conduct for minors, the waiver for minors, and the health care authorization form and give them to your action leader.

5. If you are an adult, print the code of conduct for adults and the waiver for adults and give them to your action leader.

6. If you can volunteer to drive or loan your vehicle, print the owner vehicle waiver OR the loaner vehicle waiver form, sign it and mail to APO.

We really need the applications (especially for the Spring Break Trip) as quickly as possible. We will begin to assemble the Spring Break teams with the applications we have received by March 1st. We will begin to assemble the Summer teams with the applications received by March 22nd. Please allow enough time to get all forms mailed in by these dates. Incomplete applications will not be processed. Teams will be put together based on the complete applications we have received by these dates. Late applications will not be guaranteed placement. So check your summer schedules and fill out an application today!
